Урок для уровня C1 (Advanced), посвящённый теме идеального празднования Нового года. Студенты учатся описывать атмосферу торжества, отстаивать свои идеи, использовать продвинутую лексику, связанную с организациями мероприятий и праздников, а также развивают навыки критического мышления и аргументации.
В уроке:
активная лексика по теме: secluded beach, lavish rooftop terrace, gourmet buffet, signature cocktails, customized five-course meal, fireworks display, photobooth corner, keepsakes, festive atmosphere и др.;
обсуждение вопроса What makes a perfect celebration? и составление списка «essential ingredients»;
чтение коротких текстов с описанием идеальных праздников от разных людей и работа с выделенными выражениями;
задания на лексику: завершение предложений фразами из урока и создание собственных дискутируемых вопросов;
говорение по картинкам: как разные элементы (fireworks display, champagne tower, dance floor и др.) влияют на атмосферу праздника;
задание Agree or disagree — обсуждение спорных утверждений о том, какими должны быть праздники;
ролевая panel discussion: студенты выступают в роли организаторов (caterer, venue manager и др.) и предлагают свои решения;
творческое задание Pitch your celebration — разработка и презентация концепции идеального новогоднего праздника с использованием целевой лексики;
домашнее задание — письменное описание собственной идеальной новогодней вечеринки (150–200 слов) с включением ключевых выражений.
Урок помогает расширить продвинутый словарный запас, развивает беглость речи, умение аргументировать свою позицию и представлять идеи, а также вдохновляет студентов использовать английский язык для креативного самовыражения и обсуждения реальных жизненных сценариев. Topic: Speaking, Holidays

How to Access Your PDF File

3. Log in to your account. You will find the login link in the email with your account details. Log in using the details provided. You can also access your account from the website by clicking “My Account” in the menu.
4. Your personal page with all your purchased PDF files will open. Once you log in, you will see links to all the PDF files you have purchased. All your purchased materials will be stored here, so you can access them anytime through your account.
5. Click on the name of the PDF file you need.
6. The PDF download page will open. Clicking the file name will take you to a page where you can download the file. Click the button to open the file on Google Drive.
7. A folder containing the PDF file will open. For easy access, you can download the file to your device.
